Government and Private Sector Renew Commitment to Economic Growth and Service Delivery.
The Government and private sector have reaffirmed their joint commitment to strengthening economic resilience, enhancing public service delivery, and positioning Kenya as a leading investment destination in the region.
This emerged during a high-level Private Sector Roundtable Dialogue convened by PS Ahmed Ibrahim, aimed at deepening collaboration between Government and industry stakeholders.
The forum focused on identifying practical and actionable strategies to help businesses and institutions thrive amid the current global economic challenges. Discussions centered on key areas including public procurement, tax legislation, freight and logistics and dispute resolution.
Speaking during the engagement, PS Ibrahim reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to creating a supportive and competitive business environment that promotes investment, innovation and sustainable economic growth.
He noted that despite the challenges facing the global economy, the Government had made notable progress in strengthening governance and coordination frameworks necessary to support private sector development and improve the ease of doing business in Kenya.
The PS further emphasized the importance of continued partnership between Government and the private sector in driving national development and ensuring efficient service delivery to citizens.
The dialogue brought together representatives from various sectors, underscoring the importance of collaboration in building a resilient economy and fostering long-term prosperity for the country.
