PS Ahmed A. Ibrahim Attends 3rd Annual Regulatory Authorities and Agencies Conference in Kitui County
Principal Secretary for the State Department for National Government Coordination, Hon. Ahmed Abdisalan Ibrahim, today attended the 3rd Annual Regulatory Authorities and Agencies Conference held at the Main Campus of South Eastern Kenya University in Kwa Vonza, Kitui.
The Conference was officially opened by the Deputy President, H.E. Kithure Kindiki, under the theme “Consistent Measurement and Evaluation of Real Regulatory Impact on the Ground.”
The Principal Secretary joined the Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei, fellow Principal Secretaries, Chairpersons, Board Members, and senior State officials in the high-level engagement that brought together representatives from Kenya’s 127 regulatory authorities and agencies.
The Conference provided a platform for deliberations on strengthening regulatory frameworks to support efficient service delivery, safeguard livelihoods, and promote a fair and predictable environment for all Kenyans.
In line with the Government’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), participants underscored the need for regulatory bodies to enhance compliance, reduce risks, improve fairness, lower the cost of doing business, and ultimately improve the quality of life for citizens.
The engagement reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to building responsive and effective institutions that support sustainable economic growth and national development.
