PS Ahmed Ibrahim Presents Draft Public Service Performance Management Bill, 2026 at GLA Roundtable

Principal Secretary for the State Department for National Government Coordination, Ahmed A. Ibrahim, today presented the Draft Public Service Performance Management Bill, 2026 during the 5th Session of the Government Legislative Agenda (GLA) Prioritization Roundtable held in Nairobi.

The proposed Bill seeks to establish clear standards for performance management within the public service. It aims to strengthen the linkage between planning, budgeting, implementation, and the achievement of results across government institutions.

The GLA Prioritization Roundtable provides a structured platform for aligning government legislative and policy priorities, while accelerating the implementation of key reforms across the Government.

The presentation forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance accountability, efficiency, and results-based management in the public service.
